This is for doctors the practice has already spoken to. Give us your details and proof of registration, and we will verify you before anything opens.

Registered before? Sign in instead - a WhatsApp code and your authenticator get you back in. There is nothing to re-register.

What happens next

We check the HPCSA register
A person at the practice looks your number up and compares it to what you sent. The HPCSA publishes no way to do this automatically, so a human does it.

We email you the outcome
Either an invitation to set up sign-in, or what we need you to correct.

You set up sign-in
A code to your WhatsApp number, plus an authenticator app. Both are required before you see any patient.

Practice address(optional)

The address you are registered at, on two or more lines. Kept on file by the practice; it is never shown to patients or printed on prescriptions.

Proof

PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. These upload straight to private storage in the EU and are seen only by the person reviewing your registration.

HPCSA certificate or practising card

Must show the current year.

ID or passport

Professional indemnity cover

Your current certificate of cover.

Proof of bank account

A bank letter or stamped statement showing the account your earnings should be paid into.

Your signature

JPG or PNG only. Sign on white paper with a dark pen, photograph or scan it, and crop to the signature. It is placed on every prescription you issue, above your printed name.
